0018KADŌ — Zen Flower Puzzle PuzzleKADŌ is a quiet flower-arranging puzzle built around the kenzan — the spiked metal frog a Japanese arranger presses stems into. You never drag a branch by hand: you pick a branch from the cards at the bottom, turn a large angle dial to choose how it will lean (the dial snaps to a set of clean angles), then tap an open hole on the kenzan to seat it there. A finished arrangement has to obey two things at once: no two branch lines may cross, and each branch belongs to one of the three, the sansai — heaven stands nearly upright, human leans on the diagonal, and earth lies low. Every stage has a single correct arrangement, always reachable by reasoning rather than luck; a reference hint reveals one branch's angle, and a limited undo lets you take a move back and rethink. 200 hand-checked stages on a gentle curve, seasonal backdrops, and 12 languages. 0017HANKO — Zen Seal Carving Logic Puzzle PuzzleHANKO is a quiet Japanese seal-carving logic puzzle, and the idea runs backward on purpose: the parts you do NOT carve are the parts that print. Tap cells to carve grooves into a seal face; what remains raised takes vermilion ink and stamps onto the washi paper below, inside one to four fixed guides. A cell covered by one guide prints light red, and where prints from two guides overlap the ink doubles into a deep dark red, so your print must match the target exactly — blank, light, or dark. After each press you are told only how many cells came out too dark and how many too light; no cell is pointed out for you. WAGASHI: Knead & Craft is a cozy Japanese-sweets puzzle built on one craft: kneading. Sweets never combine on contact — dropping one only sets out an ingredient. When two of a kind end up side by side, a pulsing gold ring outlines the cluster; press and hold and the whole cluster is kneaded at once into the next sweet, so six become three in a single press, climbing a 10-step chain from a tiny azuki bean to a grand kagami-mochi. Kneading never costs a move, and your score depends on how big and how tightly packed the cluster was, so an uchiwa fan and a pair of chopsticks are there to gather the pile before you knead.
