WAGASHI is a cozy Japanese-sweets merge puzzle. Drop a sweet into the vessel; when two of the same touch, they merge into the next, climbing a 10-step chain from a tiny azuki bean all the way to a grand kagami-mochi. Round sweets roll and settle with soft physics — just don’t let one come to rest above the warning line. Play it two ways: an endless, calm Zen mode, or 200 order stages where you fill a request within a limited number of moves. Each tool takes two steps: tap its icon to select it (the icon highlights, and you can lift your finger), then drag on the board to use it. With the uchiwa fan selected, drag across the board to send a gust through the pile that pushes the nearby sweets around (a bit unpredictable, like real fanning); with the chopsticks selected, drag to pick up one sweet you choose and set it down wherever you like. The effect only happens once you drag - just tapping the board does nothing. Your tools carry over from stage to stage and across both modes, and chaining merges into a combo earns you more; an optional ad can refill them too. A “Next” preview lets you plan each drop. No pressure, 12 languages.

How do you play WAGASHI?
Move the drop position left or right and tap to drop a sweet. Two of the same merge into the next tier. Don’t let a sweet settle above the warning line at the vessel’s mouth. The two tools each take two steps: first tap a tool’s icon to select it (it highlights, and you can lift your finger), then drag on the board to use it. Tap the uchiwa fan, then drag to send a gust through the pile that pushes the nearby sweets around (a bit unpredictable, like real fanning); tap the chopsticks, then drag to pick up one sweet you choose and place it wherever you like. - Launch every couple of days (a few times is enough)
- A minute or two of play per session is plenty
ℹ️ Tip — all three steps below are required:
- Step 1 — Join the group.
- Step 2 — Become a tester (opt-in): on the opt-in page, tap to join the test. Becoming a tester alone does not install the app.
- Step 3 — Download & play: open the download page, install the app, launch it and play a little — without this, your testing doesn’t count.
- Use the same Google account for all steps.
- If Step 2 or 3 shows “App not available”, wait a few hours after joining and try again.
